Thank you to all of those, who took the time to complete our neighbourhood policing priorities survey, voting on the top concerns from the community, that the Neighbourhood Team should focus on. The results for the Wycombe areas were:

1; ANTI‑SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR (ASB) The Wycombe West Neighbourhood Team continues to prioritise tackling ASB following strong feedback from residents. Our focus remains on reducing disorder, improving safety, and strengthening community wellbeing. Joint Operations With Buckinghamshire Council Working closely with Buckinghamshire Council’s enforcement teams, we are delivering coordinated action across the area. Further joint operations with the DVLA are being planned. E‑Bikes, E‑Scooters & Unsafe Riding On 18 March, officers carried out targeted enforcement in Downley, West Wycombe Road, Castlefield and Sands. Offences included riding on pavements, no number plates and unnecessary obstructions. Local Patrols & Community Engagement Strong engagement with local Mosques contributed to a calmer month. Additional patrols have been secured in Castlefield in preparation for the seasonal rise in ASB during late spring. Problem Properties ASB Overview – March 2026 There were 21 ASB incidents were recorded this month, including: Concerns around e‑scooter misuse in Downley and Disraeli are also being monitored. 2; SPEEDING Speeding remains one of the top concerns raised by residents, and the team continues to deliver targeted enforcement and educational work to improve road safety. Changing Attitudes We are encouraging a shift in how the community views speeding – treating it with the same seriousness as drink‑driving. Operation Glare – Data‑Driven Policing Operation Glare focuses on collecting evidence to support road‑safety improvements, including: This data is vital in helping councils justify investment in safety infrastructure. Targeted Speed Enforcement In March, officers carried out enforcement in: These operations resulted in nine Fixed Penalty Notices, with the highest recorded speed being 48mph in a 30mph zone. We continue to assess roads for deployment of the Road Safety Van. Speed Cameras & Mobile Vans February’s enforcement results included: These figures show the ongoing need for visible and consistent enforcement. Uninsured Vehicles Alongside speeding checks, we are working with Roads Policing to target uninsured or unsafe vehicles. Don’t risk having your vehicle seized—ensure you are fully insured.
3; DRUGS The Neighbourhood Team remains committed to reducing drug misuse and disrupting drug‑related crime across Wycombe West. Targeted Patrols in Downley Reports of youths gathering around Downley Common and the park near Plomer Hill led to targeted patrols. Drug‑Related Incidents – March 2026 Across Wycombe West, 29 drug‑related incidents were recorded, resulting in: High‑visibility patrols continue to focus on deterring offending and identifying offenders.
